  • Never copy and paste the exact article into a post
  • Summarize the article in 1-2 paragraphs
  • Include a link to the actual article at the bottom and when you reference it in the body of your blog
  • Give it the title of the article you are summarizing

I could write all day long if I could but those blogs would probably consist of reasons why I’m so awesome. And as much as I would love to do that, the bossman would most likely take away my blogging privileges (probably because it would make our readers jealous that they aren’t as awesome and not hire us). When it comes to writing about industry stuff though, writers block can easily ensue.

A great idea to avoid this problem is to share articles from other sites that you find over time. I made it a habit to share an article every Friday that I find exceptionally humorous, interesting, or informative. I chose Friday because, let’s be honest, nobody wants to do anything on Friday. Just kidding, or am I? Not only does this make it easier on you for blogging but it also gives you even more of a reason to browse the latest blog posts to learn more about your business.
